If you are planning a trip to Britian, you are in for a great delight! Hauntingly beautiful, bursting with history and fairy tale scenery, these small islands offer grand adventures and quaint charm. Many of our visitors report feeling (as we do) a deep resonance here that speaks to their soul.

This isn't the guidebook pitch. Where guidebooks tend to focus on big cities and mass attractions (and that's useful), we focus instead on quaint towns, countryside sites, and quirky delights. So, you'll definitely want to get a guidebook if you plan to hit the big cities (we think Eyewitness books are by far the best).

Travel is a great opportunity to exercise delight, and Britain serves it up in heaping portions.
